Ish comes from a different place and timeline than the Rivermoon campaign. He was in the middle of a mission infiltrating the magical library of a secret society when his wild magic disrupted a ritual. Golden lights twisted and sparkled, there was a blur of light, and Ish appeared on the floor of a cavern inhabited by goblins. Luckily, a band of adventurers were in the room where he appeared, including a wizard who seemed interested in helping Ish return to his own home.
